Questions about the parameter α in the Seasonal Water Yield module

Dear Community,

I have some questions about the parameter α in the Seasonal Water Yield module.
According to the user guidiance, it seems to be a parameter related to Residence Time. The default value of the parameter is set to 1/12, or to Pm-1/Pannual for highly seasonal climates. I would like to know how to set the parameter α when the Mean Residence Time of my watershed is 3 months, to better match the real hydrological process of the target study area?
