I wonder if you know other strategies to validate the Urban Cooling Model? I found two articles working with the surface temperatures using satellite images (EGUsphere - Calibrating and validating the InVEST urban cooling model: Case studies in France and the United States and GMD - A spatially explicit approach to simulate urban heat mitigation with InVEST (v3.8.0)). For example, use NDVI or EVT with MODIS.
