Carbon price sample data of coastal blue carbon

The carbon price data sheet in the sample data of coastal blue carbon doesn’t have units. Is it “per ton of carbon” ? Or “per Megatonnes of carbon dioxide” ?

The price input shoud be in per Megaton(1Mt=1000000t) CO2,right?

The price table examples are interpolations from the US Interagency Working Group on the Social Cost of Carbon. These were updated for 2016. Values are given in 2007 USD per metric ton of CO2. They are meant to be an example. If you would like to use a social cost of carbon approach for peer-reviewed science, we highly recommend referring to the linked guidance and deriving your own price table.
