No valid pixels were found within the search radius - relief coastal vulnerability

Hello, every time I run the model an error appears "points are missing values after aggregating…No valid pixels were found within the search radius (100.0 meters) around these points ". I have already extended the dem area to a dimension beyond the OAI, according to the distance from the average elevation radius, but this message appears. Could anyone help me… I’ve been trying to resolve this for weeks…

Hi @carlabraga , welcome to the community. To better advise on a solution, we will need to see the logfile from your invest model run.

@carlabraga , thank for posting your logfile. It indicates that the model is creating 333 shore points along the coastline within your AOI. And the warning you mentioned,

WARNING 333 shore points are missing values after aggregating C:\Users\carla\OneDrive\Documentos\Doutorado\Artigo 2\Dados_invest\intermediate\relief\positive_dem.tif. No valid pixels were found within the search radius (100.0 meters) around these points.

So no DEM data was found in proximity to any of the shore points. Have you examined the results in GIS? Do the points in coastal_exposure.shp make sense? Do they overlap with the DEM listed in the warning message?

All answers are yes, except for some points in coastal_exposure.shp that are distorted from reality…

Do you have any suggestions to fix this error?

We’ll probably need to look at your data in order to say what’s going on. Usually cases like this turn out to be problems with incorrectly defined coordinate systems.
