Dear community
From a national monitoring programme we have a comprehensive dataset on plant richness and abundance (e.g. pollen plants). So I intend to use this dataset to verify some InVEST outputs.
My question: there are many intermediate results related to floral resources and I need some help to identify the right InVEST output. I suppose we agree that pollen plant richness should not be compared with the InVEST pollinator abundance index (total or individual species).
Here the 4 outputs
(1) floral_resources_andrena humilis (and other individual species)
(2) foraged_flowers_index_andrena humilies summer (and other individual species)
(3) local foraging effectiveness andrena humilis (and other individual species)
(4) relative floral abundance index fall (spring, summer)
I think index 4 would be the best to compare with pollen plant species richness in the field? Index 1 would be interesting to compare individual species, by selecting the relevant pollen plants out of the field data set.
I do not understand index 2 and 3.
