Water Yield output per pixel

hello~
I’m studying the Annual water yield according to the type of land cover. But I found that the total amount of water supply per pixel is different from the amount of water supply in Excel.

In user’s manual-“Outputs in the per_pixel folder can be useful for intermediate calculations but should NOT be interpreted at the pixel level, as model assumptions are based on processes understood at the subwatershed scale.”

  1. Why is the water supply value in Excel different from the water supply per pixel in the file?
  2. How can I get the exactly value of water yield per pixel?

Hi @soo ,

  1. Why is the water supply value in Excel different from the water supply per pixel in the file?

Are you asking why the rsupply_vl and rsupply_mn values are different in the Excel file?

  1. How can I get the exactly value of water yield per pixel?

Water Yield values per pixel are in the per_pixel folder. There you will see a raster wyield. This model was developed at the watershed and subwatershed scale so exact pixel values should only be used to better understand the process and not for interpreting as accurate on the ground results.
