I am new to inVEST and is having problems after installation. my query is regarding python dependencies and its process for making inVEST work. Is python knowledge necessary? What exactly is requirements.txt given n the PyPI site? The screen automatically gets vanished after opening a shortcut file from the start menu. Any detailed suggestions to make it work?

Sounds like you’re using the prebuilt binaries that are available for download from https://naturalcapitalproject.stanford.edu/software/invest. If so, you shouldn’t need to worry about python dependencies, since everything is supposed to be taken care of for you with those.
In this case, this crash sounds a whole lot like something that we’ve been seeing a lot on the forums and that we very recently fixed.
