Average Runoff Proxy (number, optional) parameter

Dear scholars,

I ran the InVEST model leaving the Average Runoff Proxy (number, optional) parameter empty. However, to maintain a consistent reference for the runoff proxy index, specifying a fixed average value could ensure better comparability across scenarios.

Is it possible to derive or calculate this Average Runoff Proxy from precipitation data? If so, what formula should be applied? Is there any recommended range for this parameter? The manual states only that the value must be greater than 0, without specifying an upper limit.

When I run the NDR model without specifying an average runoff proxy, the resulting Runoff Proxy Index raster has values ranging from 0.6 to 2.6. Could this range provide guidance for selecting a fixed Average Runoff Proxy value?
Thank you very much for your guidance
