Coastal Vulnerability - ERROR Something went wrong when adding task interpolate wwiii to shore points

Hi @Edo , I’m glad you were able to solve some of those other GIS problems.

This other thread has some discussion about the meaning of the Wind Velocity warnings, and suggestions about which other intermediate files to investigate to see if these are actually problematic. Wind velocity warning + SLR + projections

I looked at the WW3 data near your AOI, here is the table for the nearest points:

You can see many REI_V* columns with all 0s. These are wind velocities from each cardinal direction around the WW3 point. In this case, velocities from the Northwest are 0. Do you think that makes sense for your study area?

As the warning messages describe, a value of 1 m/s is used, instead of 0, to calculate wave heights for these directions. So there will be relatively little wave energy, from local wind-driven waves, from these directions. Most likely, the areas of the AOI raising these warnings are the offshore barrier islands that have some amount of water to their Northwest, meaning there is some opportunity for wind-driven waves to form from that direction.
