Could you share a screenshot of the ROOT interface with the error? Please make sure that the file paths in your table are correct.
It looks like ROOT doesn’t recognize the way your CSV file is encoded. Sorry for the trouble!
Those extra characters in the error message \xef\xbb\xbf
are the byte order mark (BOM). Your file is encoded as UTF-8 with BOM. ROOT expects it to be UTF-8 without BOM.
This isn’t always easy to fix, but your spreadsheet software might have an option to save the file as “UTF-8 without BOM” or just “UTF-8”. If not, you can use a text editor program like Notepad++ to change the encoding. In Notepad++, open the CSV file, then go to the Encoding menu > Convert to UTF-8 without BOM (or Convert to UTF-8). Then save the file and try using it again in ROOT.
