I remember the older version I used before can produce raster results, but the most recent version seems cannot do so.
I do notice we may use “cell size” to specify sub-polygons, but this runs very slow for a large region - I am running the model at the country scale (US). Any suggestions?
You are correct that the recreation model only produces polygon format results. Runtime is very dependent on 1) the number of polygons, which is controlled by the extent of the AOI and the cell size, and 2) the density of photographs, so urban areas generally take longer to process than rural areas.
In general the model is optomized for local and regional analysess rather than continental scales.
