Installation issues: InVEST application abruptly closes after installation

What is the issue or question you have?

I have installed 3.14.2 workbench but after installation it abruptly closes when i tried opening the software to work.

What do you expect to happen?

Do it require anything else to install as support files if any let me know.

What have you tried so far?

Tried other versions of software 3.14.1 and even very earlier versions like 3.8 or so, even though it did not work.

Which operating system are you using? And have you checked out other forum posts that talk about similar issues? Let us know if anything in these posts helps. If not, some posts (like this one) also describe how to collect a log file that you can post here, that might give more information about what’s going wrong.

Am using Windows OS and checked other posts too.
After installation when clicked to open InVEST it pops-up and closes abruptly. In installation files i could not see log file which your asking to share.

Hi @pavithra.t.s , the log files should be in this folder:

C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Roaming\invest-workbench\logs

We may have finally discovered the fix for this problem. Seeing your logfile would still help @pavithra.t.s , but if you are willing, please also try installing this development version and see if it works:
